Hi, I’m Adrian Mazzurra, founder of Bill Smooth. I created Bill Smooth as a powerful budgeting app with bill smoothing and bucketing capabilities.

This app uses all the best features of other available apps and financial services companies – and none of the downsides.

I grew up in a typical Australian family of four. Both my parents worked hard to provide for us.

Even as a child, I wanted to manage my money well. I remember saving my $2 lunch money every day, so I could buy a $100 Nintendo game at the end of term (unbeknownst to my parents).

I was taught to save money early and, over the years, became very good at managing money.

However, in 2010, I wanted to buy a house and was worried about how I would afford it. This was my biggest financial commitment yet and I wasn’t sure much my home expenses would cost me every pay day. I tried creating a spreadsheet, but it seemed so unreliable. I searched for an app or program to help me, but I couldn’t find anything that ticked every box.

However, another passion of mine is creating things – especially things that make repetitive chores quicker, easier and efficient. So it was a natural progression to me to create Bill Smooth.

Developing the app myself took almost a year. Then I shared it with everyone I knew and got great feedback. I knew I was onto something, and the app has continued to evolve ever since.

To make an income and satisfy my creative urge, I work as a mechanical designer/manager, designing exploration drilling rigs.

And, as a Christian, my goal every day is to help people seek the abundant life that Jesus died to give us, and live in the truth that sets people free.
